The Fujitsu AOU12RLS2H is a premium, 12,000 BTU (1-ton) single-zone outdoor inverter heat pump condenser from Fujitsu's specialized Halcyon XLTH (Extra Low Temperature Heating) sub-generation. The crucial "H" suffix dictates that this model features integrated factory additions for sub-zero climates.

Cold-Climate XLTH Engineering
Unlike the standard RLS2 series, the RLS2H version was custom-modified for northern climates:

* 100% Heating Capacity: It is engineered to deliver 100% of its rated heating output at outdoor temperatures down to -15°F (-26°C).
* Base Pan Heater: Features a factory-installed heater element in the bottom pan to prevent condensate drainage from freezing, cracking the fan blade, or locking up the outdoor coil.
* Defrost Logic: Utilizes a specialized low-ambient defrost control board and relay interface to manage severe frost accumulation.

Core Technical Specifications

* Capacity: 12,000 BTU/hr nominal cooling / 16,000 BTU/hr nominal heating.
* Electrical: Operates on standard 208/230V, 1-phase, 60Hz power. It has a recommended minimum circuit ampacity (MCA) of 10.9-12.0 Amps.
