Shipping Policy

We can ship to virtually any address in the US and can ship or assist with shipping Internationally. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Purchases are available for pickup as well as shipping through third-party carriers. Upon purchase you resume all liability for products you intend on picking up. For local pickups of equipment you are allowed 7 days maximum for pickup without prior written consent.

Items listed with Stillman Company may have a choice of different shipping options, including USPS, International, Freight (to be invoiced later), as well as free pickup. Please contact us with any shipping questions. Freight and International shipping prices are subject to change. You will be notified of any changes and additional costs in shipping.

 

Buyer agrees to accept all costs associated with shipping that may occur in addition to quoted amount from seller including but not limited to all accessorial, inaccessible, redelivery, liftgate charges, residential delivery, missed delivery, rejected delivery, return shipments, stored, held or delayed shipments. Buyer agrees to hold Stillman Co harmless for all shipping damages or losses for any reason in transit and agrees to accept product as is upon delivery and not allow Stillman Co. to incur any further costs. Stillman Co. incurs no liability for shipping products.

SHIPPING INSURANCE

Stillman Co. may purchase shipping insurance from a third party to cover shipments. Buyer agrees to purchase their own cargo insurance policy if they wish to find one in addition to that provided by trucking company or freight broker. All insurance claims are the responsibility of the freight broker, carrier and their cargo insurance providers. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless for all costs or liabilities over what shipping insurance may or may not cover. Buyer agrees to cooperate and be timely with all responses to requests made by shipping insurance companies involved. Seller agrees to cooperate with shipping insurance

FOR FREIGHT SHIPMENTS (shipments over 150lbs) YOU MUST PROVIDE US WITH ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

* Complete shipping address including business name.

* A contact person and phone number for delivery.

* You must specify if address is commercial or residential.

* Most equipment is shipped on a pallet. We need to know if you need a liftgate for delivery or if you have a dock or way of unloading.

* We ship within 1-3 business days of confirmed funds unless otherwise noted in listing.

1.   LOWEST PRICED FREIGHT OPTION IS TO BUSINESS WITH LOADING DOCK OR FORK LIFT OR TO PICKUP AT A FREIGHT TERMINAL! (IN THE LOWER 48 STATES)

2.   OTHER MORE EXPENSIVE OPTIONS INCLUDE CURBSIDE LIFT GATE /RESIDENTIAL/ OR DIFFICULT TO ACCESS (IN THE LOWER 48 STATES)

FREIGHT Arrival & Inspection

Buyer ... Please Read Carefully!!

BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES: When your purchase arrives; you need to unpack and check the shipment for any concealed damages, immediately upon arrival, before signing and accepting the shipment from the delivery/freight driver. Take pictures and notate. If there is any damage, then the buyer MUST make a detailed note on the truck driver's invoice, noting specifically the damages he finds. The driver must acknowledge this by signing the carrier copy. You will be provided with the insurance carrier information as soon as possible. You may be asked to provide documentation and pictures to insurance company you must be willing to assist in completing and provide any documentation the insurance company may request. You must comply with all freight carrier and insurance company requests sent in writing promptly within their required time frame. This includes paperwork and documentation requests and in some cases may include returning of damaged goods or seeking a repair professional. In some cases the damaged shipment might need to be disposed of. Stillman Co will assist receiver with claims to the best of their ability however Stillman co is not associated and cannot guarantee claims of freight insurance company. DO NOT DISPOSE OF ANY EQUIPMENT UNTIL AN INSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE APPROVES IN WRITING!

* Item Not As Described: When your purchase arrives and you or your installer unwraps it, and the item is not as described, you should report it to the seller immediately. Items recommending or requiring model specific installers or licensed professionals need to be unpacked by those professionals for a valid claim. Inspection should happen promptly within 3 business days after arrival of product.and installation within 1 week. Please note such claims are only valid at or prior to or at time of installation. After installation such claims are no longer valid. Items that have a valid not as described claim should be properly repacked and crated and upon return will not be charged restocking fees. INSURANCE: Every shipment is insured for the purchase price. Buyers can file a claim by submitting related pictures and with a copy of Shippers Invoice detailing the damages. Freight insurance does not cover cosmetic blemishes or dents on used equipment only damage that impedes functionality.

LIMITATIONS:

1. Failure to document damages on shipping Invoice: Please note we cannot file for an insurance claim that is reported to us after the shipping company's invoice has been signed and the buyer accepts the shipment. Always inspect for concealed damage prior to signing

2. Refrigerated Equipment: During shipping or moving of refrigerated equipment, the Freon gas lines can come loose from rattling and the refrigerant can leak out. This issue is beyond our control. We can't guarantee against this problem. We recommend refrigeration mechanic check all connections on installation.
